Over my years of serving the Lord Jesus, I’ve taught every book of the Bible. The words of Scripture came alive from the original Hebrew and Greek texts.

And then, I realized how much I was missing in the books. Four years ago, Judy and I accompanied Dr. Ron Allen on a trip to Israel, and the scenes came alive. We haven’t read the Bible the same since.

The Holy Land
There is nothing like going to Israel, the land where God revealed Himself in time and space. The early church father, Jerome, once described Israel as “The Fifth Gospel,” and once you’ve been there, you’ll know why. And you, like Judy and me, will never read the Bible the same again.
RecenteredGroup will again host a Bible Study Tour of Israel, May 9-20, with an optional add-on to Jordan, May 21-24. Dr. Ron Allen, just retired Senior Professor of Bible Exposition at Dallas Theological Seminary, will once again be our teacher. Thanks to a breadth of experience in archaeology, travel, biblical studies, and cultural understanding, Dr. Allen brings the Bible to life with passion and experience – causing you to understand the foreign lands and people that played center stage in the stories of the Gospel.

Dr. Ron only takes one bus. That’s a huge advantage, believe me. Those of you who have been on one of our last two trips (even though I had to return home for hip replacements last time) understand that that bus turns into a community, sharing deep experiences of worship.
