How to have confidence in God in 2023, even when life hurts. 

In Psalm 138 David expresses his confidence in God with this amazing sentence: “The Lord will accomplish what concerns me.” On an evening years ago when we thought that what we had feared the most was happening, this sentence and this Psalm brought such calming confidence in our Heavenly Father’s care that Psalm 138:8 became our life verse. I’m not asking you to make this your life verse, but I am asking you to consider making this your daily prayer for 2023, especially when the hard times come.
